Welcome to 2-Pros. This page will talk a little bit about what we are trying to do here at 2-Pros. So if it's your first time visting, or if you have only read a post or two, check out our three main focuses here and get an idea what we are all about.
Career Process - Our top focus on the blog is to discuss career process. We really believe that career process is the key to having a happy, healthy professional life. To us, your career process incorporates things from personal branding, to corporate training, to education, experience, and self-awareness. Your career process is taking a step back, and incorporating all of those things and more into a process that is all you. The biggest benefit of having a strong career process is that you are always best built to do what you are capable of doing best; you're never trying to be something you're not, you're never going down a path that you can't finish. And whatever comes your way, you'll be ready to do it the way that you know how.
Sales Process - Much of our career experience here at 2-Pros has come from sales environments and we often spout off about different tactics and sales bits that we feel are essential to the sales process. Because we have a very liberal view of sales mentality, we encourage those of you non-sales folks to read these posts too. Even if your "customers" aren't "purchasing" something from you, you might still be selling it.
Random - We hope that one-dimensional blogs never existed, and you sure won't accuse us of such narrow focuses here. While we love to chat about careers and sales, it's not a 24/7 thing for us. We do though try to keep personal hobbies to other forums. You will still see us post on professional topics such as networking (we love social media), strategy, current events, and probably a whole lot more.
Oh yes the mission - After it's all said and done we just want to have added value to those around us. We want to build a community of likeminded people who are looking to enrich their careers by taking a good look in the mirror once in a while and making sure that they are in control of their destiny. Life is full of people who will stick a hand out and help you along, but no one can do that if you don't know where you want to be. Build yourself from the inside out, prepare for unexpected, capitalize on your strengths, and you'll be on your way to your dreams.
